Yes, it was in October of 1990 that Rocky Mackintosh announced the incorporation of the land and commercial real estate firm in Frederick County, Maryland that would be known as MacRo, Ltd. Over the last quarter century Rocky and his team have served hundreds of clients who seek one or more of a wide range of services including sales, leasing, consulting, development, land preservation and property management for real estate in and around the Frederick County, Maryland region.
The company was structured to be client focused in order to assist those it serves by creatively developing methods of maximizing the value of land and commercial real estate assets.
Commercial real estate has proven to be a worthy investment in Mid-Maryland for many over the last 42 years that Mackintosh has been active in the business. But like any other investment, it has been subject to economic cycles and therefore without good planning, it can prove to be very risky. The MacRo team has earned a solid and proven record of assisting its clients through those difficult times.
The firm has shown tremendous success in yielding results for its clients through its cutting edge marketing, intimate knowledge of how Frederick County works (in government, politics, business and development) and its deeply established networks and connectivity with the people who make things happen in the region.
The MacRo Report Newsletter has proven to be a reliable publication since it first hit the mailboxes of thousands of investors, businesses, real estate brokers, government officials and property owners in 1993.
This fall marks Issue 2 of Volume XXI, and it offers readers insight on alternatives uses for the overbuilt office building market and a land use planning guide. You will also be introduced to MacRo’s newest associate Ashleigh Kiggans, as well as a strong inventory of the land and commercial properties that the firm is currently marketing for sale and lease.
So in this 25th anniversary year, the MacRo team would like to thank all those who we have had the privilege to serve, many of who have been loyal and repeat clients. It has truly been a pleasure to serve this community, and we look forward to meeting new customers and clients in the years ahead.
