Rocky Mackintosh, President and Broker of MacRo, Ltd., a Frederick County, Maryland, based land and commercial real estate brokerage is seeking a very creative, energetic and organized individual who desires to break into the field of commercial real estate.

This is an opportunity for one who seeks a full-time career in commercial real estate. This engagement offers an opportunity to gain a strong foundation in sales and leasing negotiation skills and customer service from one of the most seasoned real estate brokers in the mid-Maryland region.
The selected individual will be mentored to understand the needs of clients and customers, as well as to develop the skills necessary to maintain customer/client loyalty. The apprentice will learn the techniques of prospecting for clients; securing listings; negotiating deals; drafting letters of intent, contracts and leases; and proper follow-up to deal closing.
This full time position requires a high level of motivation and, when necessary, long working hours. The woman or man chosen will act as an assistant sales and leasing associate to Mr. Mackintosh in working with him, his clients and customers.
The selected individual must have at least two years of active experience in sales, and it is preferred that he/she have experience as an active real estate licensee in the state of Maryland, as well as a four year college degree in business, marketing and/or communications. In addition this individual must have skills in the usage of current technology, social media and programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, etc., as well as Adobe and similar software.
A modern and clean vehicle is required for property showings and client meetings.
A fair compensation package will be worked out, based upon the background and experience of the selected individual.
