MacRo, Ltd. is pleased to announce the sale of two farms in Mt. Airy, Maryland.

Dave Wilkinson of MacRo Ltd. represented F.C. Frederick Inc. in the acquisition of two contiguous farms in Mount Airy.   The 41-acre farm located at 4602-B Bartholows Road sold for $294,000, and the 111-acre farm located at 4502 Bartholows Road sold for $714,000.  Both properties were sold at auction by PATH Allegheny Maryland Transmission Company, LLC, which had acquired the property with the intent of building an electrical substation.  The PATH project was abandoned, and the utility consortium sold the property.   Both properties included residences and farm buildings, which were in very poor condition.

F.C. Frederick is a non-profit soccer organization that seeks to enhance the development of soccer players at all levels in and around Frederick County.
