Ask Questions First, Shoot Later

Sometimes it may feel like your real estate agent asks too many questions.

Shooting RangeAt MacRo, we pride ourselves in not only our listening skills, but also our ability to ask the right questions. When TWG Limited Partnership came to MacRo in search of a location for their first indoor gun range, an existing building was not what they had in mind – but Rocky had a vision.

After asking the right questions:

  • What space layout was required for an indoor range?
  • Preferred zoning and location?
  • What market research had the client done to lead them to this location?
  • What are the characteristics of their ideal customer?

All paths lead to an existing building that not only had the right zoning, but an ideal layout for the indoor range and perfect location. The existing building allowed Heritage to move their business plan forward instead of spending time constructing a new facility.

The sale closed on January 17, 2014. This flex brick warehouse building has 32,172 square feet, ceiling heights as high as 16 feet, and a loading dock.  The property is situated on a 3.98 acre lot.

Unlike other indoor ranges, Heritage Training and Shooting Center’s vision is an education based business plan with an inviting corporate atmosphere. Patron will have a ability to learn about firearms in both a classroom and range setting. Booths and classrooms have been designed with all patron types in mind and will provide specialized education for women interested in firearms.

At MacRo we have the privilege of helping our clients realize their business visions through real estate. We are excited to welcome Heritage Training and Shooting Center to Frederick.
