Zoned and masterplanned for agricultural use, the property had all of its subdivision rights intact.  A vacant farm house and several agricultural buildings, all in poor shape, are on the Property. The buyer obtained about half of the funds to purchase the property through Carroll County’s Critical Farms preservation program.  Approximately 65 acres of the land is tillable and the balance was a mix of pasture and forest.   The sales price was $745,000 ($7,233 per acre).  Dave Wilkinson represented the Seller in this transaction.
